1. On / Off type – Used in Euro II cars
On / Off pulses operate the solenoid
VSV either closes fully or opens fully
2. Duty type – Used in Euro III & above cars
Duty pulses operate the solenoid
Unlike On / Off type, flow is regulated for various conditions
